Casa Silas offers you a very comfortable Queen size bed and ensuite bathroom with hot shower. Our rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans, and also feature skylights for a gentle wake up call from the Nicaraguan sunrise and the parrots outside your window.
The rooms look out upon the courtyard garden and swimming pool. Your most difficult decision at Casa Silas will be whether to have a morning dip in the pool before or after coffee. In addition to coffee we also offer a selection of fresh, local fruits, jams, pastries and heartier breakfast fare to start your morning of exploring. We also offer nightly turn down service, mini bar, complimentary high speed internet, and VoIP free telephone calls to the US, Canada and Mexico. Laundry service is available.
Full concierge services are also available, including airport shuttle, car rentals, or Spanish lessons. Of course, we would be happy to help you arrange a walking tour of the city, a boat cruise of Las Isletas or if you prefer to explore on your own, we can arrange for a driver to take you to Volcano Mombacho or Volcano Masaya. El Güegüense, a synthesis of Indigenous and Spanish cultures combining theatre, dance and music, is considered one of Latin America’s most distinctive colonial-era expressions.

Cycle Paths :: Diriamba to Casares on the Pacific

We're all getting excited about our next cycle path - Diriamba to Casares (28km) on the Pacific. Diriamba is at an elevation of 1800ft and the Pacific is . . . wait for it . . . 0ft or sea level. There are no Steve Bauers or Lance Armstrongs in our little group so downhill is how we ride. From Granada we'll bus to Diriamba and the return trip we'll bus from Casares to Granada or if time permits from Catarina to Granada we could ride. That's a wonderful road as well, and well, it's downhill also.
