El Banco Central de Nicaragua (BCN) presentó los resultados de la Encuesta Ingresos y Gastos de los Hogares Urbanos
The Central Bank of Nicaragua (BCN) presented the results of the Survey of Income and Expenses of the Urban Homes

The sample of the survey was of 6 thousand 981 houses, of which it was managed to interview to 6 thousand 535, for 93,6% of citizen acceptance.
La muestra de la encuesta fue de 6 mil 981 viviendas, de las cuales se logró entrevistar a 6 mil 535, para un 93.6% de aceptación ciudadana.

Among the findings it is worth mentioning that 20% of the poorest people in Nicaragua receives just 5% of all national income while the richest 20% receives 54% of the total national income.
Entre los hallazgos encontrados es significativo mencionar que el 20% de la población más pobre de Nicaragua percibe apenas del 5% de todo el ingreso nacional, mientras que el 20% más rico percibe el 54% del ingreso total nacional.

An important data that to emphasize it is that in the period studying the population perceives a great improvement in access to the basic services of electrical energy, water and public lighting system.
